How long will the water removal process take?

Depending on the size of the job the process from start to finish typically takes three days which includes the recommended continuous running time for high capacity air movers and dehumidifiers.

 

Should I be concerned about mold growing with all the water damage?

Microbial growth can occur as early as 72 hours after water damage which is why it is important to not only address the water damage quickly but to also make sure that the proper protocol is followed so mold growth is not a problem.

 

Who should I call for water removal or water damage help?

Can my personal belonging/property be salvaged?

Depending on the severity of the damage it is possible to salvage personal belongings and property. We work with property owners to evaluate what items are deemed salvageable and then thoroughly clean, dry-out and store the property in our state of the art warehouse located in Sarasota (while any repair or rebuild process takes place if needed).

 

Do I need to leave my house while the water removal and dry out process takes place?

Its really up to you and on a case-by-case basis. Depending on how wide spread the damage is throughout your home, you may feel more comfortable staying elsewhere while the process is completed. Again, it is really up to you and what you feel more comfortable with.

 

What if my cabinets, flooring and other items are damaged beyond repair?

For items that can not be salvaged (personal or otherwise) we will inventory the items and document with photos so you and your insurance company can discuss the property and items as part of any coverage you may have.

 

Can you repair my property damage after the water removal is done?

Absolutely. We are also Florida licensed general contractors and can handle any and all types of repairs and/or rebuilding that may need to be done.

 

Can my carpeting and pad be saved?

We have the latest in technology and equipment that is designed to help save carpeting and pad. Our weighted water extraction rovers (see one in action here) were designed to help maximize water removal from carpeting and pads. Depending on the severity of the water damage and condition of the the carpeting and pad it is possible to save some carpeting and pad.
